Guldasta Shareef | گُلدَستَہ شَرِیِف
The first half of what we read in our Silsila’s Tradition of Fatiha. Back around 1912, Hazrat Baba Tajuddin (ra) had asked Sarkar Yousuf Shah Baba (ra) to format a way of Silsila’s Fatiha as to how he sees fit.
Sarkar Yousuf Shah Baba (ra) borrowed verses from many sources including Farsi and Urdu and created sections. These are very similar to hymns that sing odes to:
- first, create an introduction to Silsila Yousufiyah Tajiyah’s core beliefs
- and then pay homage to Panjatan Paak (rz) in general
- Hazrat Ali (rz)
- Hazrat Imam Hussein (rz)
- Hazrat Ghosul Azam (ra)
- Khawaja Ghareeb Nawaz (ra)
- and finally Hazrat Baba Tajuddin (ra)
This is where Guldasta would end and the remainder of Fatiha would continue. Guldasta was followed by Surah Kafirun, Surah Falaq, Surah Nas, Surah Fatiha, and the first half of Ayaht-al-Kursi as per traditions of Shadhili Sufi Order.
